Watch as quarterback loses part of his ear in crunching hit

We can vouch that Matt Schaub is one tough guy. The Houston Texans quarterback received a fierce illegal hit on Sunday from Denver Broncos linebacker Joe Mays that sent his helmet flying off his head. The force of the impact was so intense that a piece of Schaub's left ear was also ripped off in the collision. The quarterback grabbed the side of his head in pain and left the field of play, but in true Monty Python style, the injury was merely "just a flesh wound." Schaub sat out just one play before rejoining the action and leading the Texans on to a 31-25 victory. [Source]
