Puppies helped keep lost boy with Down syndrome warm
10/18/2012How has the Internet not completely collapsed under the weight of the sheer sweetness contained within this story? Kyle Camp, a 10-year-old boy with Down syndrome, went missing Tuesday night in Hackleburg, Ala., while his family thought he was watching TV. Over the course of the night, more than 150 volunteers searched for him. Finally, searcher Jamie Swinney found Kyle after his dog led him along a creek, where he discovered the boy being kept company by Swinney's dog's puppies. He was found wet and without shoes, and officials said they believe the puppies kept Kyle warm during the night. Kyle was treated for scrapes and bruises but is now safely back at home. [Source]
